Hi I’m Corey, a product designer with a background in residential home building and design. This 15 year experience has provided me with a distinctive approach to empathizing with users and enhancing their experience with functional, desirable, and aesthetically appealing physical spaces. My overall passion for enhancing and improving the experience of those who use a space, product, or service is a direct result of my empathetic approach, which has refined my skills in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.
I have simultaneously worked freelance as a visual designer, developing brand identities for a variety of clients, from small businesses to large corporations. This gave me a unique perspective on the process of communicating a concept or vision to stakeholders while simultaneously enhancing recognition within the target market. I was responsible for conducting market research to gather information about users, brand auditing (both internal and external), and all aspects of visual identity.
