From Blueprints to Wireframes
Hi, I’m Corey, a UX Designer transforming real-world challenges into intuitive, human-centered experiences.
My path to UX is unique. For over a decade, I simultaneously ran a design-build contracting firm and worked freelance as a visual designer. This dual experience, designing and remodeling physical spaces while developing brand identities, taught me that true design isn’t just about how things look; it’s about how people live, move, and feel within a space or product. I spent years empathizing with homeowners, analyzing their pain points, and turning complex technical blueprints into livable, beautiful realities.
Today, I apply my unparalleled work ethic and process optimization to creating high-impact, user-centered digital products.
Through completing full-cycle UX projects, I realized that building a home and building digital interfaces share the same DNA. Both require empathetic thinking, deep risk management, rigorous problem-solving, and the ability to balance aesthetic desires with technical constraints.
My background has instilled in me a unique “builder’s mindset.” I don’t just design for the “happy path”; I also design with financial acumen and technical understanding in mind, ensuring my solutions are not only user-friendly but viable for the business. I offer a rare mix of creative vision, Information Architecture, and gritty, real-world project management.
